CHARLESTON, S.C. — In less than 24 hours following the South Carolina primary where Nikki Haley won 40 percent of the vote, the Nikki Haley for President campaign raised $1 million from grassroots supporters alone.

The continued surge of small-dollar donations demonstrates Haley's staying power and her appeal to broad swaths of the American public.
